A person seeking employment and permanent residency in Canada through the Rural Renewal Stream. Also known as an employee, job seeker, newcomer, or immigrant.
The Grande Prairie Rural Renewal Stream Community Partnership.
An organization or company seeking candidates to fill labour gaps through the Rural Renewal Stream.
As of June 2024 the demand to immigrate to Alberta is far higher than the province can accommodate within the limited number of nominations received from the federal government every year. Therefore, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) must manage its 2024 allocation to address economic priorities across all sectors.
When a stream or pathway monthly application target is reached, no further applications will be accepted in the AAIP portal until the next date. Applications received by the Province in 2024 will not be processed until 2025.
Application acceptance dates, targets and processing times are posted on AAIP and are subject to change. Applicants and prospective applicants should regularly visit the AAIP website for the most current information and updates.
